Hatebreed have premiered their new single, “Make the Demons Obey,” the first new music from the band in almost five years. The band’s last studio album, Weight of the False Self, was released in November 2020.

Frontman Jamey Jasta shares: “Lots of bands say that their newest release will be their heaviest and I guess we are no different. We’ve managed to push the envelope and surpass our expectations. We’ve become tighter, harder and more vicious than ever. This is the most excited I’ve been for any Hatebreed release.”

Drummer Matt Byrne adds, “Very exciting things are happening in the Hatebreed camp. It’s time to unleash this beast — new music is here! This is the fastest, most vicious, and most aggressive music we have ever created and I’m pumped for the world to hear it.”

Recently, Hatebreed made news after founding member/bassist Chris Beattie left the band, and guitarist Wayne Lozinak underwent brain surgery after being diagnosed with a benign meningioma while on tour; he is currently in recovery.
