LEXINGTON, KY (April 3, 2026) –– The blues-rock powerhouse, Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, will bring their tour to the Lexington Opera House on Friday, October 9, 2026. Shepherd, a Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum guitarist and bandleader, has been redefining the blues since his 1995 debut, Ledbetter Heights. Born in North Louisiana in 1977 and raised steeped in classic blues and rock ‘n’ roll, he quickly developed a signature guitar tone and performance style, honed during years on the road before he was even old enough to drink in the clubs he played.

Shepherd’s career has been defined by both technical mastery and soulful storytelling, from his breakthrough hit Blue On Black to the Grammy-nominated Ten Days Out: Blues From The Backroads, as well as collaborations with legends like Stephen Stills and Barry Goldberg.
